Founder's Note

The story behind ICC Wealth

After my 22 years in the corporate world — the first 11 as a Private Banker and Investment Strategist, and the next 11 in public equities, culminating as CEO of International Business for one of the largest Portfolio Management Services firms — the decision to venture out on my own wasn't difficult. What was challenging, however, was answering a deeper question: who are we, and what do we stand for?

That question demanded honest reflection. And when I looked back at my journey, at whatever little success I had accumulated over two decades the answer became obvious. It wasn't superior knowledge that set me apart. Compared to many of my industry peers, I was and I say this with humility, still a student. I remain one today. The markets like life have a way of keeping you humble.

What truly made the difference was Integrity. And integrity, practiced consistently, built something far more valuable: Credibility. Together, they opened doors that competence alone never could. They brought me into the company of extraordinary people — deeply knowledgeable, sharp, and generous with their thinking. Immersed in that circle, and driven by an inquisitiveness to keep learning, my Capabilities grew in ways I could not have engineered on my own.

Most investors seek complexity in pursuit of outsized returns. We believe compounding is simple: Identify Investment Manager's who can produce superior returns that are consistent, sustainable and resilient for long periods. Fewer ideas. Deeper conviction. No conflict. That is our approach.

Fewer Ideas

Wealth management is an industry that rarely suffers from a shortage of ideas. Every week brings a new fund, a new theme, a new narrative compelling enough to make you want to act. Our job is not to bring you more of that. Our job is to bring you less - but better.


We believe that a portfolio is not a collection of interesting ideas. It is a carefully chosen set of high conviction investments, each meaningful enough in size to actually move the needle on your wealth. A great idea with a 1% allocation is not an investment. It is a distraction.

Deeper conviction

We work with a simple filter. Before anything enters our selection, we ask three questions. Do we understand it deeply? Do we believe in it strongly enough to hold through discomfort? And is there a case for a meaningful allocation? If the answer to any of these is no, we walk away regardless of how compelling the story sounds.


We seek out fund managers across equities and multiple asset classes, spanning Indian and global markets. Managers we believe in deeply enough to partner with conviction, and are disciplined enough to walk away from when the fit no longer holds. We do not rotate portfolios to appear busy. We recommend with patience and exit with discipline.

No conflict

We are uncompromising about one thing - the absence of conflict. We will never distribute a product because it pays us better. We will never favour a fund or a manager because of a relationship. The only interest we serve is yours.


We share our views, argue our case, and push back when we disagree. But ultimately every decision must be one you understand and own. We are here to think alongside you, not instead of you.
